 Your Wallet Holds Coins

Efirium Wallet can hold Both Coins and Tokes. Good to know:   the biggest difference between a Coins and a token is that Coins are the native asset of a blockchain like Bitcoin (BTC), or Ethereum (ETH), whereas tokens are built on an existing blockchain, using smart contracts. Most commonly, these are EIP-20, ERC-20 tokens.

Coins have their own blockchain and tokens don’t. Tokens are built on the existing blockchains.

New coins are constantly being created, such as Dogecoin, Litecoin, Tether and Cardano.  No matter the name, their purpose is the same. They provide a store of value and medium of exchange.

Conclusion: Coins and Tokens both represent a store of value, much like fiat (regular) currency, such as dollars, euros, Rubles, etc.

Your Wallet Holds Tokens

The same as Coins, Tokens represent a store of Value.
New and different forms of tokens are also coming into existence, but their purpose varies. The owner of a transactional token can use it to transfer money, to avoid steep bank fees. A governance token would allow you to vote, as a citizen, a board member or a shareholder, and many more including NFTs.

Again, Tokens like Coins can represent the store of value, similar to fiat (regular) currencies, and your Wallet can hold them.
